How is DVD Empire on handling returns/exchanges?

I purchased a DVD from DVD Empire a few weeks back, finally got around to opening and watching it last night and discovered that it had a pretty sizable surface scratch that caused freezing and pixelation in several parts of the movie.

I've returned several defective disks with a simple letter of explanation to other etailers like Deep Discount and had no problems getting an exchange in a fairly timely manner. I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with DVD Empire and how smoothly it went with them. If they have a slow or complicated return/exchange system, I may consider just foregoing that process and simply trying to replace the disks through some other means.

I never had to return a DVD to DVDEmpire out of many orders but it appears they do not pay for return shipping. The two following links should answer your questions.
