Amazon pre-order question
 

If I use the standard shipping and I have one item that is low on stock and another that is pre-ordered, will they set the other item aside or will I be out of luck if they go out of stock by the time everything finally ships?

Is this something going out of print? Otherwise I would go ahead and order it and not worry about it going out of stock. Good chance they would have more on hand when your order is complete. Also another shippping option is to choose to ship items as they become available if you are concerned about Amazon running out of stock.

Thanks. I was able to find out by cancelling the item and re-checking its status. Sure enough, right after I cancelled 1 item appeared in stock. I added the item back to my order. At least now I know it's been set aside.
