Best Buy's new slogan?

I saw a Best Buy truck on the highway yesterday with a new slogan on it: "Great prices. No pressure." So what do you think?

Does the truck tailgate you on the way home if you don't buy the warranty

Other than the warranty, they are no pressure. Of course, they're sometimes no-see-um as well....
[Actually my BB has been better, they don't push the warranty as much {of course i'm buying things like games and dvd's}, and they usually offer to help me find something when I'm browsing the aisles.] They do push those friggin magazines...wow, I qualify!

I have seen employees that would consider this approach no pressure. I have witnessed a guy get shitty and refuse to sell an item to a customer because they would not buy the extended warranty.

This has been thier slogan for years.

A funny story: A friend who still works at the place said that at the nightly meetings associates are asked for ideas as to how they can get more money from customers.

I thought about this for a moment and told him that Best Buy should put a huge couch in the middle of every store, invite customers to sit in it, then proceed to shake all the change out of thier pockets.

He was going to use it but he never got called up

I've shopped at Best Buy for ten or fifteen years now, and I don't recall a SINGLE time that I've been pressured into taking the Extended Warranty.

Usually they mention it once, I say no, and that's the end of it.

Missing a line.

"Great prices, no pressure, no useful information"
