DDD & Credit Card Mining
Last week I was surfing through some porn sites which I hadn't done in a while. This week I notice in my credit card unbilled activity I been charged by two porn sites. I didn't intentionally buy anything.
I've cancelled the card and will contest the bills. I remember reading here that DDD credit card info was not secure so I've put OOOOOOOOOOOOO's there. Are there any other online stores that have cookies that can be mined without your knowledge that I should delete?

I don't know of any specifically, but you should probably download and run Ad-Aware from Lavasoft. It's free and will get rid of most data miners. Also, Discover and Citibank both allow you to create a "one-time-use" credit card number for online purchases. It's a great thing. Discover's is alittle more convenient because they have a program "Discover Deskshop" that you can load that generates them on the fly. With Citibank, you have to go to their website and generate one, then write it down to use it on a website. Discover also offers that option if you prefer.

If DDD was the source, wouldn't hundred of us here at DVDTalk have noticed something by now?
