Netflix title lobbying thread?
 

I wanted to throw out this idea for those of us who are Netflix users. As many of you know, there are still quite a few titles Netflix doesn't carry, which is understandable. I thought that perhaps we could use our collective lobbying power to get the titles we want available. If we made a list of all the titles that are already out on DVD that we really want, and each of us sends one of those "Title Request" emails to Netflix (with just a cut and paste of the list), I'm sure we could get some of those titles.

I'm especially talking about titles which Netflix lists as "awaiting release" but have been out on DVD for a while (examples: Bloodbath: Wrestling's Greatest Steel Cage Matches, Mad Monster Party,Hands on a Hard Body). Perhaps they are waiting to see how many people save the titles on their queue before ordering stock--and perhaps we could get those titles available if we were to add them to our "awaiting release" queue.

What do you guys and gals think?

Let's add Boomtown Season 1 to that list. I can't believe they aren't carrying it.

I sent a title request for that on Monday. I was shocked to see don't have it.
