I am glad the next few months are slow for dvd buying because I am broke now!!!!

That's part of the answer. Also, I ordered some last week, but wanted one that just came out today (supposed to be no pre-orders). Finally, I thought of things after making my order earlier today I probably will add.

I haven't seen any instances of anyone getting the 20% coupon discount applied to a pre-order item, only to backordered items.

For me it is online deal reflex.

Find a deal. jump on it right away with whatever you can think of you want. complete order before it goes away.

Repeat until deal dies or nothing is left you want.

I also have been reading posts and deciding on dvd's I never thought of ordering. Sometimes these are blind buys because I see so many people buying it. I research it and decide based on reviews if I might like it. Other times I see a title I would like to get I forgot about.

These threads are valuable help in a deal like this with the strange search system DDD uses since you can copy and paste the title as DDD has it to find the dvd.

A few people have posted orders from the old mistake codes that allowed preorders which adds to the confusion :)

I'm still contemplating whether to order the Akira Kurosawa Criterion Samurai Boxset and Dead Zone Seasons 1 & 2. I'll probably order those before the sale ends.

Hell - that doesnt bode well. I searched all over the place, both under Mystery Science Theater and MST, MST3K, Joel and Mike Nelson - without sucess.

I might give them a call tonight and confirm if they indeed dont carry it.
