Question about preorders at Amazon
 

I placed a preorder at Amazon months ago and recently the item moved its release date a week earlier.

On order status, the shipping date estimate still reads the same, which is a week after the actual release date.

I was wondering if Amazon will automatically ship on the release date, or earlier or if I need to cancel my old order and order again.

They never change the dates in your order status. They'll ship it when they get it.

That happened recently with the Buffy S6 set. At some point, the release date got moved up from September, and the estimated shipping dates never changed. But I received mine a couple of days after it was released a couple of weeks ago.

It ships wehn they get it, so you'll get it probably within a week after it is released.
