Best Buy Digital Dollars
 

I've got a question about Best Buy and their Digital Dollars promotions. I bought X-files Resist or Serve (PS2) last week at Bestbuy.com since they had a promotion where you get $10 Digital Dollars when buying the game. Well, it arrived exactly a week later and I still haven't seen the $10 DD.

I called up Customer Service and they told me that they were going to pass my information along to the promotions department and they would be in contact with me, and generally this type of stuff takes 2-6 weeks to be resolved.

WTF is up with that? Is that typical of this kind of promotion or Best Buy?

(Oh yeah, they sent and charged me for 2 copies of the game as well, so now I have to drive to one of their stores to return it! Grrrr)

The DD dollars usually arrive much later than the actual product for which the DD was offered, possibly well after the return period so that you can't just return it and still keep the DD.

Things might have changed now, especially for a screwy site like BB.com.

Thanks for replying about it, didnt know if this was common practice or not. Looks like in the future if i want in on a promotion i'll be going to the b&m best buy instead of .com.
