Need to buy a new Bed, Simmons or Stearns & Foster?

Opinions on New Bed - Simmons or Stearns & Foster
(Big Guy)

Hey all,

It's time to buy a new bed, been looking online
for info on quality and durability for mattress
makers- but what I am looking for is info relating
to use from BIG folks, and I thought I would ask
here by chance....

I am 6'6' 375lbs and my wife is 5'5' 150 lbs, we
currently have a 11 year old simmons beautyrest
bed that has served us well for at least the last
9-10 years and now in it's 11th year it is finally
starting to be a bit uncomfortable...

So we know at least the simmons beautyrest beds
(11 years ago) were/are made decent enough to give
us a good 9-10 years in general, and we would HOPE
11 years later here that would still be a true
statement about beds made by them today, but the
other maker we were looking at (that my wife likes one of
their beds alot) is made by Stearns & Foster.

Price and or deals on them are NOT important, I
will pay whatever I have to to get a good quality
made bed that will hold up another 10 years or so
and give us quality sleep, I won't buy the cheapo
base models, been there done that, at 375lbs and
being big in general 6'6' I know you get what you
pay for quality wise (my berkline $600 couch fell
apart in a year, yet my Layzboy $1100 couch that
looks almost the same is still going strong after
5 years+)....

Just looking for input from anyone out there that
is larger in general and might have a Simmons or
Stearns & Foster bed and can give me some feedback
on them.

Ever consider a Tempurpedic? My wife and I have a bit of a size difference, and it's great. Pricey, but well worth it.

That's what I have, and I love it.
