Netflix versus Walmart online rentals?

Anyone have any comparisons?

I've been using Netflix, but Walmart is a bit cheaper... not that much more to have 4 out at a time. Just wondering anyone's experiences with Walmart... and if possible what comparison to netflix...

I just did a trial with both and decided on Netflix. Shipping time was about the same in Southwest Missouri but Netflix had a quicker turnaround and I felt they had a better selection of films. There are several comparisons in the bargain forum, look for the sticky thread on rental trials.

The question is...does Walmart only carry pan & scan versions when available?

The problem I had with Walmart was if you lose a disc you owe $19.95 every time.

Netflix doesn't do that.

Unless something has changed recently, Walmart only had one distribution center, so you could be waiting a lot longer between discs. Several months ago people were complaining about the poor availability too.
Haven't heard too much about Walmart's program lately - that may be a bad thing. Personally, I'd rather stick with what works.
