Free Shipping-DDD vs. Digital Eyes
 

I guess they both ship from the same warehouse.I had one order from each shipped on the first of this month-received the one from Digital Eyes three days later and as of yet-I haven't received the one from DDD.I had trouble before from them with a late arriving shipment.Why is the shipping from DDD so much slower?

Very simple . . . Digital Eyes uses First Class or Priority Mail (depending on how many discs you buy) and you pay for it. DeepDiscountDVD uses Media Mail for their free shipping whose estimated delivery time is twice that of First Class or Priority Mail. But, again, it's free.

My Digital Eyes order was sent-media mail.

Media mail is highly unpredictable. It seems the bigger the package the longer the delivery time. That might be one explanation.

I ordered 3 dvds from Digital Eyes and 1 dvd from DDD.

DDD wants to make you suffer :)

Lately it seems the larger the package from DDD gets deleivered by the USPS alot quicker than a single title. I had a single title ship on 11/26 that is still not here yet. While my coupon orders shipped on 12/1 and 12/3 got here 12/6 and 12/9.

I ordered a dvd on the 8th so I am hopeing it gets here this Saturday.

Here a tip if you can't wait pay the $3-5 and have it shipped faster. Depending on the title this is what I do.
