Advice for Columbia House

Recently, I signed up for Columbia House. The plan was to get the 7 DVD's and quickly order the other 3 I'm obligated to buy. However, like a moron, I put the wrong street name in when filling out my application (a former street I lived on, it was late and I was tired). I realized what I had done as soon as I hit the enter key. So I wrote them an e-mail immediately. Two days later I get an e-mail from them with my temporary access number for their website. I went online and corrected my address in my profile. Then I get a response from them on my first e-mail where they said they see the correct address in their system. A few days after that, I get another e-mail from them saying my order was on it's way. To the first address I gave them. Which of course, is the wrong one. Since then, I have sent them countless e-mails trying to correct this problem. NO ONE has responded. I've called their customer service number and sat there forever until I couldn't hold any longer. So I've never actually talked to anyone. My order is in limbo because of this. Does anyone have any other suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

You might want to ask this in the Clubs forum.

I actually went through the same thing with them, it took almost six whole months to get my movies. I bought the three that I needed to buy, and quit the program. I kinda stay away from that stuff now, I buy through . Columbia houses customer service has always been like that too, my friends have had the same thing happen. Anyway, try to keep emailing them and calling, and hopefully you will get through one of those times. also log on to your account and make shure that your address is still the new one. Hope this helps, later.

Just keep calling them. Right now it's taking them forever to answer emails because of the holidays.

Is that for the 2-pack?

That must be the most expensive internet DVD site.

to be honest here, you entered the wrong address and that was the root cause of the problem. It is always a good idea to double and triple check everything before submitting any order. A few extra seconds when ordering isn't that much to sacrifice to ensure accuracy. I realize it is easy to get caught up in the excitement.
