Best Buy just shipped (11/05) my Indiana Jones PREORDER!!!
 

Hi all,

Just wanted to gripe that BB just sent me an email with a shipping notice that they had sent my Indiana Jones movies, just now, Nov 5. WOWOW!!! I pre-ordered months ago. This is crazy. I preordered the latest Bond, never got the extra DVD, was told to email MGM directly, which I did twice, and still don't have the bonus DVD promised by BB (so it shouldn't be MGM's fault...).

In any case, BB is increasingly sucking for preordering in my book.

Unless you had a GC, why would you preorder from BB, especially this release? This one was and is priced at some B&Ms as a loss leader. Is a bonus, 'exclusive' DVD really worth the hassle? But aside from that, their pricing on average is nothing spectacular. With so much online competion no one needs to subject themselves to inferior service.

Wait 'til this guy gets his set and there's no bonus DVD with it...he should go ballistic then.

There are still a few sets with the bonus DVD available in Salem NH, but I think they were all full screen for what its worth.

Just buy DVDs on release date from B&Ms. Preordering from websites is not a cool thing to do unless they offer coupons or other discounts that lower the price below that of the B&Ms on release date.
