Question about new Best Buy in Chicago

The new Best Buy on Clark St. is supposed to open October 24th. I don't see any parking though -- is this a walk-up only store? I can't imagine where people would temporarily park their car to put their 52" TVs. They sure as hell aren't going to walk that puppy home.

Ideas?

Neither of the two Best Buy stores in Manhattan have any visible parking, either,

Ok, so where do people park their cars to load their TVs? There better be an ample loading dock as I can see 10-15 cars easily trying to load TVs during the Christmas season.

That's probably not that much of a problem - since most people who live in Manhattan don't even have cars. There's a Best Buy in Queens with a large parking lot, which makes sense since that's where the car owners would be, and anyone from Manhattan who actually has a car would probably head there if they were doing a major "lug it home" purchase. I'll bet the Manhattan stores have a higher use of store delivery than any of their other stores,

P.S. - Where on Clark? I used to live one block from the Clark-Broadway-Diversey intersection, and before that lived closer to the Loop on Wells.

The Best Buy is about 1/2 block from Clark/Broadway/Diversey. I just moved to this 'hood about 3 weeks ago from River West.

How many people who live in the city (apartment living) actually but these huge TV's? I would think this is more of a suburban trend..

I was in the large building on the north corner of Broadway & Surf. If it weren't for temporal displacement, we'd be neighbors.

I know some delivery drivers and they tell me that they deliver projection tvs and plasma's to apartments more often than you think. Mostly projection tv's, tho'.
