So I ordered from this site on the 23rd and have yet to receive my product. I figured it should take a week, but I did pay 5.25 in shipping so you would think it wouldn't take that long to arrive here. So I go to the page again to look at the shipping details and it says to allow 4-8 weeks for shipping? Excuse me? What kind of vendor is this? How can you charge so much for shipping (I bought one Farscape action figure) and allow that much time for shipping. I went to contact them, but there is only e-mail contact available and I wanted to call them up.

Has anyone done business with them before, and should I be worried about this?

$5.25 is about what smaller retailers would charge for shipping of an action figure/collectable. Unless your trying to compare them to Amazon, B&N, Etc. which have millions in stock holder funds to subsidize shipping costs.

It say's "Please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery" not for "shipping".
Either way I would not order from them myself since they are a email only outfit and want the customer to wait 3-4 day's to get a response from them. Sounds like a business run by a college student.

Well I e-mailed them yesterday and did get a response the next day so that was a comfort. They stated they would ship out my product on Monday. I guess that's not so bad since they did have the lowest price I could find before shipping.

I'm not saying 5.25 is expensive for shipping. I think it's average. I just thought that would mean I would get the product in 2 weeks tops. I ordered 2 more of the same product from another retailer for a fraction more per product, but I really want this figure and supposedly it was limited to only 2000 produced. So even if this company doesn't come through I have two figures anyway.
