question about Amazon VISA reward certificate
I have a quick question regarding Amazon VISA card's reward certificate. The card that rewards you $25 when you spend 2500 points. Does anyone know the procedure to acquire the $25 certificate? Does Amazon automatically send you the certificate when you reach 2500 points? Or do you have to send in a request? Also, how long does it take for them to send you the certificate? Do they send via email or regular mail?

The GCs are sent automatically by snail mail when you reach 2500 points. You don't have to do anything other than earn the points. I don't know when they usually send the GCs but mine arrived the same day as my credit card statement after I earned the required points.

Yes, the GC's are sent automatically. Visa statement says you'll receive them in about 15 days from statement date. However, I usually receive them within a few days of receiving the statement.
Note that the GC does not come from Amazon. They come from some reward vendor hired by the back (forgot which one does the Amazon Visa). I had to pursue once because the GC did not come and got the finger pointing between the bank and Amazon so that is how I know it comes from the bank as a reward for using their Visa card. Also, I did receive that GC after going through this effort and have no problem since.
