Question about selling used discs to Digital Eyes

I have been to the Digital Eyes site and I can't see any email address.

So, I will ask the question here.

What exactly do you have to do to trade your used discs for store credit?

Do I just pack them in a box and ship them off to Digital Eyes address?Do I need to do anything else? Just a note in the box stating I'm trading them in?

I know some of you have done this and I sure would like to have your input.

Thanks

Click on Used, then the price quote machine comes up. You will need to enter each dvd you want to sell. They will quote you a price they are willing to pay, if you accept, you put it in your shopping cart. When you are finished, you check out. They give you a total and a quote number which you print out and stick in the box with your dvds. It is good for 30 days I believe.

Anybody else noticed that their used DVD stock list has been totally empty since last week?

DigitalEyes told me that it should be back up sometime this week. According to the sales rep, they're updating the look.

They no longer give cash. That ended a month or two ago. Just store credit now.

Just to note, the Used DVD section is back up. Although it's still not realtime, which kinda sucks since I placed an order for seven used titles that showed on the site as "Shipping Immediately," and when I received the e-mail it turned out five of them had already been sold.

BJacks, Try emailing Mark directly and tell him your situation, [email protected]
In all my dealings with DigitalEyes (from the old days and now), I've found that he's very helpful when there are problems.

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago, where I ordered 10 used items that were "in stock, ready to ship, can't be held, etc.", and then the confirmation email showed 3 missing.
I emailed Mark, he straightened it out, and I got all the discs.

I agree that an inventory system should be realtime for both new and used titles, so that we can count on getting what we order, expecting it to ship as promised.
