Fortune article on credit cards and retailers
 
Man it got me....... I was flipping through the March 2003 Fortune Magazine and they had an article on retailers that have their own credit cards. It got me, Circuit City makes 100% of their profits off of credit cards, and Target 15%. They called some of these stores "banks in drag."
