Kim's on St. Mark's Place (East Village) has a few different models including Malata - and they also carry DVDs from all regions.

marty,
thanks for the info. I actually knew about kims but thought they are a rental place only in terms of machines. well thatīs good to know. I should probably pay them a visit the next time Iīm over there. when relocating from europe to nyc I could bring my own region free player but I donīt really want to do that since I want to stay equiped in europe as well ;) are there any recommended region free players? Iīm slightly out of the loop hardwarewise.... |
Check the international forum. Plenty of info there! :)

Chinatown might have something. I'm not sure though since I only got there to buy games and movies, not the hardware.
Still, they won't charge you any tax in most instances. |
