AB Sound's New Website - a disaster?

Anyone taken a look at ABSound's (Canada) revamped web site?

http://www.absound.ca/default.aspx

All existing customers have to re-register, which I am unable to do as there are only a handful of countries to select from.

Their Sale titles listing and upcoming titles list have disappeared.

I'm awaiting a response from them.

I would lay bets their still revamping... be silly to cut off customers! I don't like the new look personally...

THey're a really good online retailer. I get most of my Canadian DVD's from them. Seems like they're having some troubles with this new site (security warnings, search not working), but hopefully they'll have the kinks worked out soon.

I also ussually buy a lot of region 1 dvd's with ABSound, but it seems that they have also raised the prices of their dvd's.
For example, last time I've bought Drumline and Below.
Drumline was CAN$ 24.97, and now it's listed CAN$ 29.49
Below was CAN$ 26.97, and now it's listed CAN$ 31.49

I bought with ABSOUND because of the good prices and fast deliveries to the Netherlands, but it looks like that I have to look for another online shop :-(

They may not have raised their prices. They often have very good prices for pre-orders.

Check out some of their Sale titles (if you can find them?).

38 - 50% off.

Let's keep our fingers crossed, as I too, have bought most of my DVDs from ABSound and have always received excellent service

Hi Mark,
But I didn't pre-order the above mentioned dvd's. I just ordered the dvd's some weeks after it's release. So I'm thinking that they have raised their prices.

Robert,

The was A&B works is they sell widescreen new releases for really great prices. Then after a few weeks they raise the price to "regular". That's when I go with TAU & such, I also read TAU gives free shipping to orders of $150 outside of Canada even if split/pre-orders in it.

Edit: Must drink more coffee before posting!

I have the following DVDs on preorder in the "old-system":

Equilibrium Our Price: $34.99 34.99
National Security Our Price: $30.99 25.97
Terminator 2:extreme Our Price: $31.49 25.97

The first column is the new price, the second is the old price. Quite an increase on the two last titles.
And now is seems like Sweden is no longer available as shipping country

There must be a glitch in their system. It seems illogical that Sweden (and New Zealand) would not be listed, when China and Taiwan are.

Hopefully they'll get it sorted out.

Maybe if we all email our concerns directly to them, they'll get the message.

I've always found them to be responsive to emails in the past.

Doh sorry Robert!

Martin,

I'm pretty sure there's a glitch in there now, Terminator 2: Extreme I know is a pre-order thus should still be cheap!
