When is it safe to assume DDD has lost your order?

I placed an order with DDD for three titles around midnight on 5/8. As of yet, I have received nothing other than the immediate automated response. The website also does not reflect my order. In all actuality, this is fantastic news since I decided I really did not want CMIYC and was regretting the purchase. But I would like to re-order the other two titles.

I emailed DDD 2 days ago asking how long I should wait to be sure the order is dead, but I haven't heard back yet.

Any first-hand experience?

Well, I just placed an order with them today and got t he immediate auto-response email from them and then later in the day I got another email with a confirmation number, if that helps. THe confirmation email says that another email will be sent when the disc actually ships.

Instead of relying on email, I think it would be best to give them a call.

That's the one thing I can't stand about DDD. Their e-mail responses take a lifetime.

This happened to me once. I called to see if they had the order. When they didn't I just placed it again. Their customer service is usually very helpful.
