Question about Half.com seller fees / commissions
I just sold a DVD on Half.com for $10.99. According to their fee scale, the only charge I should incure is a 15% commission deducted from the sale price. I also receive a $2.49 shipping credit after that. That should mean I make $11.83 when all is said and done (10.99 sale price - 1.65 for the 15% commission + 2.49 for the shipping credit = 11.83). Instead I recived $11.23. Where is this extra $.60 coming from? Has anyone else had problems with Half.com overcharging like this?

Half doesn't pass the entire shipping charge to you. The shipping reimbursement is $1.89 currently, I believe, which is 60 cents less than you were expecting to get. I think of it as their listing fee, they just don't collect it till you sell the item, and don't call it that.
