Anyone use dvdsoon.com or North American DVD for ordering x-files seasons?

I'm tired of spending $100 when buying the X-Files season sets and I am thinking about trying one of these sites. Can anyone give me some feedback about these sites? How was the service, shipping time to U.S., etc..

Thanks,
Mark Z

I have used North American for my last 2 X-files sets. I have had no problems with them, but it does take a while for the discs to get to your door. I live in CA, and it took about 1 to 2 weeks after the street date to get the sets. But for the price I don't mind the wait.

Chalk me up as another person who had a positive experience with North American DVD. I ordered X-Files season 1 from them, it took a little while to get it but for the money I saved it was well worth it.

I recently ordered seasons 1-7 from NaDVD. I received 1-6 (7 isn't out yet) in about a week. The packaging was ok, and season four had a couple of dings in it, but I think it may have left the factory that way.

Either way, I'll take a few dings to save that much money.

I've ordered one X-Files set and 2 other box sets from NADVD. No complaints here. The money saved more than makes up for the extra shipping time.

I've purchased a few things from North American DVD over the past year and have been satisfied with the shipments. It does take some time to get your orders, but it's worth it because of the savings.

My roommate, after my advise, has purchased nearly all the sets from DVDSoon. The price is just too good to pass up.

I was trying to choose between these two sites, and was going to use DVD Soon, but their $10 coupon that expires on 4/30 (today) won't go through. I thought they'd let me use it all through today... Now I'm going to wait for a few more days to see if a new coupon pops up.

I ordered Season 7 from DVDSoon.com on 4/30. I also threw in a cheap Madacy title for $2.91 to get free shipping (Cabinet of Dr Caligari). I was able to use the $10 off coupon. Total for Season 7 and the Madacy title with free shipping was $68.XX USD!!

Hope I get it before June. I just finished watching all of the episodes in order from the beginning of season 2 through season 6. Anxiously anticipating season 7. Then the Resist or Serve X-Files game in June.

I've had no problems with North American DVD. I *have* had problems with DVDSoon.com and won't order from them again, no matter how good their prices or "deals" might seem. The problem's happen more with titles that you preorder that might be hard to get (like anime titles), and by the time they get released, in some cases they never get them in. Since they charge up front, they're sitting on your money forever too in these instances, and to get a return, you have to go through a convoluted set of steps of a web form to reenter you credit card # and down the road they will put money back into your account.

If you want the best deal on X-Files Season 7 now, try ThunderDVD.com now (also a Canadian site). They have it now for $70.99. You might want to order it with the 3 disc Canadian limited edition of the Pianist too for $23.99 there, though I think I'll probably get that one at NorthAmericanDVD.com which has it for $21.99.

Any North American DVD coupons? I performed a DVDTalk search but I didn't come up with anything. I know they have their free shipping for US customers if you get 10 items, but I was hoping to sweeten the deal even more. Anything out there?

You can buy X-Files Season 6 at Half.com from some pretty darn good sellers for $50, brand new and shipped. These are not imports or copies. I ordered a few from a few different sellers over the last few months and have been extremely happy with the results.

I'm sure Season 7 will have similar prices a few weeks after release.

I always use NorthAmericanDVD for the X-Files sets now. I ordered Season 7 on 5/1 and recieved it via UPS today, 4 days before release date. And at only a total of $82.XX shipped.

I ordered my copy from DVDSoon. They shipped it out on 5/6 and it just arrived today in the mail. I did however choose the "Expedited" shipping option for a $1 more. I usually don't but I didn't want my X-Files set to be bouncing around in the mail system for 10+ days.
