About to tear my hair out looking for Sony's rebate #

There's a rebate form due BY the 14th (not postmarked, due in their hands by the 14th). I've been trying to get in touch since yesterday with a representative and no luck. I've tried over an hour and just keep getting this number and that number, 1-800-222-7669, 1-800-942-7669, 1-800-865-0244 (always busy), 1-800-571-7669.

The booklet says to include proof of purchase from the KarateKid booklet. There is NO proof of purchase in that booklet. The UPC seems impossible to cut out without cutting into the plastic cover of the case also.

I'm about to swear to never buy Sony again (their name is the only one mention on the rebate form - and of course sony.com has NO customer phone numbers).
