Woohoo! My Borders Broke Street Date on Day the Earth Stood Still!

Just picked up TDTESS at my local Borders!! I probably didn't get the best deal ($14.99), but I've been waiting for this for so long I had to buy!! This movie is definitely in my top 30 of all time!

StevieD,
Congrats on getting it early. I've already planned on getting it at Borders next week, but maybe I'll check and see if they already have it out.

Actually, Borders price is pretty good, because $14.99 is 25% off list, and that's how they price most $19.99 titles. Unfortunately, I don't think there are any active Borders coupons right now, not even 10%.

Wow, I could have bought this lst week but was not sure whether I wanted it. Can someone put a link to a review site somewhere of the movie or of the dvd itself.

No one seems to have a review up just yet. I know we have two of these in at my Borders.

Thanks. Sometimes these movies are hard to find at mainstream stores like Best Buy or Circuit City. Only Borders and online stores seem to have them.

Spoiler:
Gort! Klaatu barada niktu!

I wonder if the reviewer listened to the mono track; they didn't comment on it. Also, I thought it was odd that he mentioned the surround effects on the 2.0 track--maybe he listened in PLII rather than stereo. If so, his comments on the audio need to be taken w/ a grain of salt as he didn't listen to the track as intended.

If Amazon ever ships my disc, I guess I'll get to find out for myself
