i work for BB now, pming really depends on the person doing the pm, personally i wouldnt call another place to make sure they are in stock, all we need is an ad. as for pming a deal (multiple movies) i don't think that would fly, but it couldnt hurt to ask. p.s. be nice to to employees, I just started, and it sucks working when it's really busy and customers expect the world from a n00b who works from 4 till 1 a.m. and doesnt get to take breaks because of the constant flood of people.

i price matched Signs from BB. worked out well as they couldn't figure out the tax so it was nearly tax free. i was worried about being hassled with BB's low price, meaning the sale price is never actually stated, even though we know that whatever price tag for something else that is next to is the sale price. but they never questioned it. as far as i remember when this first came about you need the actual add not photocopies or scans.

I've price-matched three times at BBV (Star Trek III and XXX for $9.99 each, and Thelma & Louise for $13.99) using ads from Toys R Us, the WIZ and Circuit City - never had a problem, they simply took the ad and never called any store. As easy at it gets - especially since BBV is a block away from my apartment.
