The article I read in the Washington Post yesterday said it was on-line stores like Walmart.com etc. that at the present time do not collect taxes because their on-line stores are run from a few states but they also have B&M in many states and people who bought on-line wanted the option to return items bought on-line to a B&M store. Atleast thats what I got from it. I guess it might have some implications for on-line only stores in the future but I'am not that worried with the on-line stores I deal with. Anyways its not that different in Va. and it would be easier if the on-line stores just charged the sales taxes so we do not have to figure them up on our state taxums.
