They used to rent soft porn, but then they stopped.

they are located in San Fran, so it may be slow shipping depending on where you live, but they are worth it. they specialize in all the non mainstream stuff. does netflix carry Baise Moi or I Stand Alone? and yes they have quite a few Girls Gone Wild. It takes a few days for me to get the dvds but since i can't walk into blockbuster or hollywood and rent alot of those type movies, it saves me tons in what would of been poor blind buys otherwise.

note: I Stand Alone is great and was an actual blind buy, i just couldn't wait.

I emailed Netflix in September 2001 about the sudden disappearance of the Mature category, and here was their reply:

"Thanks for your inquiry. Please be advised that Netflix is discontinuing
its "Mature" genre, a category of DVDs consisting of softer erotic-style
films like those commonly available on cable television. Netflix has
already made the majority of titles in this genre "unavailable" and will
be working to remove all these titles from our inventory and customer
queues during the coming months.

The Mature genre represented a very small portion of our business, and
we hope our customers will find no shortage of other great DVDs from
among our collection of more than 10,000 titles."

Well, at least I got to see Nude Football and Basketball (chicks of course, not the Bucs and the Lakers) and all the Hong kong Cat III stuff. however, in the past nine months or so Netflix is carrying more unrated arthouse stuff (like the awful Baise-Moi), unrated horror/exploitation (Vampyros Lesbos) and even brought back a few Something Weird DVD's like Nude on the Moon and Bad Girls Go To Hell. They even carry Hong Kong CatIII masterpieces Robotrix, Untold Story and Eternal Evil of Asia.
