Amazon Question

Do all the purchases from Amazon ship from Louisville, KY? I am going to start buying more from them if it is so. It only took three days for my Buffy Season 3 media mail shipment to get to my house. It is because it is only coming to Tennessee and I think that is great!

It varies, depending on which shipping location has stock, and where you are.

Chances are, though, that most of your stuff would come from Louisville

It comes from KY when I buy electronics, but most of my DVDs come from Delaware.

My music and dvd's seem to come from Deleware, my books are split between KY and Del.

Amazon has warehouses in several places.

New Castle, Delaware
Campbellsville, Kentucky
Lexington, Kentucky (the biggest of the bunch)
Reno, Nevada
Coffeyville, Kansas

They also use several dropshippers, one of which is in Illinois and their Tools are shipped from Grand Forks, North Dakota.

It pays to be nosy when you're on the phone begging for your order to ship. ;)
