Solaris CC @ BN.com

Has anyone got a shipping confirmation on this yet? I got it for 23.98 (+ shipping), and later noticed that they had changed the price to 32.98. Could that have anything to do with it or what?

I ordered it on 11/11 and the order status page says "The shipping date is unavailable at this time. " But the site lists Solaris as in-stock, ships in 24 hrs. I guess it's time to give them a call.

Also, Solaris is back down to $23.98.

same message here, and I placed my order on the 24th of November . I was going to order Contempt from them too, but this mysterious delay is making me think twice about ordering from B&N again.

My order is now showing that it shipped yesterday. I didn't get any confirmation e-mail though. Good luck to everyone else.

I ordered Solaris on 11/12. Got an email that said it shipped on 11/27. Charges posted on 11/29, so that sounds right.
Not received yet, but with surface mail shipping, it could easily be a few more days.

Barnes & Noble's free shipping is incredibly slow. My order that shipped on Nov. 21 finally arrived today.

So I have something else to look forward to.

My order that I placed over three weeks ago hasn't even shipped yet. This will definitely be the last time I order from these guys.

I am paying for shipping and they still have not sent out my order.

I have to agree with DumDum. I will not order from BN again.

I guess the worlds coming to an end or something. My order shipped today. They were nice enough to take off the shipping charge that was originally on there.

Probably won't ever do business with them again though.

Time vs. money

Lately I have been more interested in saving money than getting prompt service. They did have the lowest price, so if I wanted that title, I would have been happy if they shipped within a month.

Probably wouldn't have minded as much, but the site listed it shipped within 24 hrs. They could have at least said then that it was backordered and I probably would have just gotten it someplace else.

I noticed that they had Col. Blimp and Contempt at pretty good prices as well but I dont think it's worth the extra five bucks to have to wait a month to get them.

BTW: I recieved Solaris yesterday with my free cappuccino coupon

I ordered "I, Claudius" on 12/11. I wonder how long it will take to get this "In stock, ships within 24 hours" and "order before 12/16 for arrival by Christmas" dvd set? On my order status it sits at "shipping date unknown, check back later."

I ordered Solaris on 11/11 and it still hasn't shipped. I've called once and emailed twice, and each time they said it would be shipped within 48 hours, but that never happened.

I called B&N's customer service last week and they expedited my order with free 3-day UPS Select shipping. I received Solaris on Tuesday. From my conversation with the CSR, there appears to be a problem with the warehouse, but who knows.

I finally got a shipping notice from B&N. UPS says my shipment should arrive on 12/24. Do miracles really happen?
