Just went through the Store Forum and couldn't find what I was looking for.

Anyways...when you preorder a DVD do they charge your card when the order is placed? Or when the order is shipped?

Unlike the other Canadian e-tailers, Amazon.CA charges when the item is shipped, not when it's orderd.

Amazon.com does not charge your order until it enters into the shipping process...the item then usually ships out that day or the next day.

If there's a available title and a pre-order(in the sameorder) sometimes they will ship and charge the available title right away.
