What are the best (cheap and fast and reliable) non-R4 on-line DVD e-tailers?
Hi folks,
I am trying in vain to find the best - cheapest, best stock, reliable - online E-tailer that is non-R4 and delivers to Melbourne, Australia. I have added a list of e-tailers and their approximate delivery prices and times to arrive for the assistance of others.
1. Diabolik DVD - specialise in euro trash, horror, etc..A reliable boutique supplier so prices aren't cheap. Their postage comes to about $8AUS per disk , sent via US airmail, and arriving in 7 days to Melb/Aust.
2. Luminous video works - pretty much the same deal as Diabolik, but don't have as good stock.
3. DV-Depot - found this crew by accident, they seem to offer one of the best postage deals online with a $24AUS , 1-7 disk DHL postage offer..Thing is it only gives value with more DVD's bought, and their stock system has alot to be desired, with titles taking nearly 3-4 weeks to arrive in stock from the US (they are Canadian), which makes the DHL thing a much of a muchness!
4. DVDEmpire - well they stuffed up my order, and am awaiting a resend! Their stocks seem to be unsurpassed with cheap prices, if only their shipping was as good. Shipping cost me about $26AUS for 4 disks..but I'm still waitng for my package and its been just on 6 weeks...
5. NorthAmerican DVD - Canadian mob, cost about $8AUS for 1 disk sent via Canadian post, got it in 10 days..Haven't used them again, but they seem OK.
6. Blackstar - UK so be prepared to pay too much coz of the Pound. Shipping is about $4AUIS per disk, order arrived in 7 days.
7. MovieMAll UK - also from UK, good for arthouse stuff, but pricey. Shipping about $6AUS per disc, 7 days arrival
8. HKFLIX - quite amazing and cheap. Disks arrived in 5 days!! WIth postage at around $8AUS per disk!! Thing is they online supply Asian trash!
WOuld appreciate reports from other Aussie DVD enthusiasts,
Cheers
