Circuit City warranty question
In 8/00, I bought a Compaq computer at Circuit City. I purchased the extended warranty (3 years, I believe). Last week, the speakers died on me. I can't find my receipt/warranty anywhere. If I go to CC, would they have the warranty info in the computers, or am I SOL if I can't find my warranty? Thanks.

I don't know if they did it back then, but according to the most recent commercials (the one with the guy pulling stuff out of his wallet looking for a receipt), they're keeping everything on file now. Give them a call and see if they have your purchase on file.

Yeah they will have your reciept. That is as long as you paid with a check or your purchase was over $100. They have been using the same system since 96. So they will have it on file.
