Netflix competition
 
Saw this article in the local paper http://newsobserver.com/business/sto...-1801006c.html


Looks like netflix may be facing some real competition in the near future. Hopefully, this will lower the entry price point for this kind oif service. I'd love to see a $9.95/month for 2 out at a time plan.

Netflix Express tried to do it inside Smith's and closed its doors less than six weeks later.

Competition is a good thing IMO. Chances are that if or when these other .com's get off the ground netflix will lower its prices. Which of course is always good :up:

This is very unlikely, due to there wouldn't be any profit margin. But I would enjoy it if they did.

I dunno -- if walmart enters this market, I expect them to undercut netflix significantly, even if they initially take a loss while doing it.
