Anyone else’s 2 yr old Beauty & Beast $0 misprice ship?

Ordered in September 2000 for $0 and assumed it would be updated at some point. However it just shipped at that price! Was it just me?

Mine's entered the final stage, but hasn't shipped yet. It won't let me change the order anymore though. Who would have thought?

Hope mine ships too. Mine was $3.28 or something after WA tax.

Same here. I had to actually update my credit card information. It was so long ago, that I have since changed credit cards. This holds onto some hope that when the Lion King is released it would be the same way $2.98 shipped. I won't hold my breath though.

Crazzap!

The account with which I placed this order is notorious for orders that never ship unless I call amazon. It appears it might be the same for B&B for it has not yet shipped. Has anyone had any experience with orders that never seem to ship at Amazon? Is there another way to get it back in the system?

You Lucky Dogs!!!

Everytime I use to order those "$0" items, Amazon would cancel the order -or- ask for a "price increase" approval.

Looks like I missed out on this one.

Just like some of you, I completely forgot about this until Amazon sent me the email yesterday.
I had other items in my account that were mispriced but Amazon simply asked for my approval on the "corrected" price. When I declined, they cancelled the order.
Beauty and the Beast, somehow, was overlooked.

Cool, mine sat in "shipping soon" status for a few days (my billing address was wrong), but it still went thru and I just got the "shipped" email! I guess sometimes it pays to be patient. :0) Two years, that's got to be a pre-order record (though my copy of "Legend" was on order close to that long, too, oddly enough...through Amazon, heh).

Yep, got my shipping notice today. Cannot wait! $2.98 shipped is very nice!

I have always heard that patience was a virtue, but even I have to admit this is ridiculous...

Thanks to the ancient poster that posted this deal 2+ years ago!

I got it, too. I didn't figure they'd honor it, but they're coming through.

Too funny...

My copy is on the way too...

I had totally forgotten about it.

I had the $2.98 charge from Amazon on a card I no longer actively used.

Concerned about fraud because I hadn't ordered anything from Amazon on 10/06 using that card, I called up Amazon.

Several calls and an e-mail later I was told about the Beauty and the Beast Pre-order from two years ago.

He didn't know why it was free and asked me if I still wanted it even thought it had already shipped.... Duh! I'll take a $2.98 DVD anyday.

Knew I'd find some answers on the best DVD Resource on the web, you know it, you love it, you can't live without it, DVDTalk

'nuff said

I got shipping confirmation earlier this week too Sadly (not!) my price was $7.95 while currently cheapest shipping is about $6. After that I checked Lion King it shows WorldMail shipping which isn't available anymore, but I think I won't change it, if they sell it at $0 I can pay a bit more for shipping
