www.DVD.com Too good to be true??

They have some amazing deals going on right now, and before I place my mammoth order I'd like to know if anyone has had any experience with this site before?

check it out...

This is the place that used to DVDexpress right? The only comment I can make is they dropped the express from the name for a reason

Can't say anything caught my eye, some good prices on some decent HK imports though.

I think it's a pricing error on their part, if you look at a title that's priced at say $20, now their usual saving is 15% but now instead of 15%, it takes off $15.99 on the price and that's why the price seems too low to be true. I don't know if they'll honor the order but I saw about 4 titles I'm interested so I took a chance, if they won't honor it, I'll just cancel the order.

bizrate ratings are a laundry list of horror stories - I'm not taking a chance:

These guys are legit: used to be DVDExpress.com. They were once pretty good, but now they both suck and blow.

89% of the people who ordered from them this past week have given them a Negative rating. LOL--I think I'll pass. Akumalin is right--it's supposed to be 15% off, but it's taking $15 off instead...

They are horrible. Look up the thread in the store forum.

Stay far away, no matter how good the deal.

Looks like they're one of those stores that charge you as soon as you place your order. Some of the people posted on bizrate said they still haven't received their order they placed last November, this looks too shady. *feels I may never see my $30 again*

I agree!

do not order from them. they are not a site that should get any of your money.

If you ordered from them cancel and dispute the sale if they do not credit your money.

I placed my first Internet DVD order with them in June of 1998. They used to be pretty good. Notice the use of the phrase "used to be."

Memories, like the corner of my mind ....
