Do you get credit for your AMazon GC when you cancel a preorder?
 

I want to cancel a preorder that I used a GC on. Will I get credit for my gc? I ask because I think I have deleted the gc email a while ago. Thanks..

If the GC has not expired yet, you can cancel the order and the GC will go back to your account.

If the GC has expired and it is a regular GC, give amazon a call and kindly ask the rep to extend the GC and cancel the order for you.

If the GC has expired and it is a promotional, you are SOL.

Place a new order for whatever you want and then combine it with the order with GC. Cancel the item you don't want and voila, the GC is applied to your new order.
