Chicagoans: Midwest stereo on Clark and Diversey

Has anyone ever bought anything from this place?

It looks like a stolen stereo warehouse, but according to their website they've been around for 25 years and according to the BBB they have a satisfactory record.

I called them to price something and the guy (the owner, I found out) says "What's the best price you've found? What will it take to get you into the store?" and I said "Oh, you're that kind of store. The hard sell." "Yep. I'm the hard sell. You gonna need speakers?" and then he knocked $18.00 (6%) off the lowest price I had found for a receiver.

Any experience with this place? The website makes it sound decent.

(Edited for math.)

I never walked in there, but from the looks of the store front, they just "look" shady.

I'd go in REALLY wanting to buy speakers and see how much he's willing to bring it down ... then just bail ... and bail FAST
