Canceling an order with North American Dvd?

Does anyone have experience canceling an order with North American? Do they normally send e-mail notification when they ship?

I sent an e-mail Friday to cancel a preorder that would have shipped this Tuesday. Should I expect to receive it anyway?
And from experience, will I be able to return it if it is delivered?

The people at NorthamericanDVD answer their emails well most of the time. Wether they can intercept the shipment you are refering to would depend on when it actualy ships. Many items that are due next Tuesday are shipped wed, thur, fri of this week so they can arrive close to the release date.

Thanks. I realized there could be a problem if the dvd was shipped or shipping soon. Does North American send e-mail notificaiton of shipment?

I don't recall getting emails at shipment time. The packages just seemed to arrive. As I said earlier they have always cintacted me when there was a problem and they have always resolved them. I don't want to sound like there have been a lot of problems, becuase over theyears there have been only a couple.

I got a mail from UPS with my trackingnr, that's all. This is whats bothering me the most about this site, they don't send out any information about how much they charge in shipping and in my experience it varies alot.

I used to buy alll my stuff from them but i stopped due to a few problems with them. Shipping is one of the problems. They never contact you when a item is shipped, delayed, or backordered. ITs a really pain in the butt
