DDD shopping cart question
 

I want to order some DVDs from Deep Discount DVD for the first time. Whenever I put a selection into shopping cart, it says "This item is currently not in stock and will ship as soon as it is available. ". It's happened to all the DVDs. Is that normal? Or, the DVDs are in stock but the site is not updated?

Also, is there any deal or promotion code for DDD right now or any time soon? Thanks.

I went to the website and had the same results. This is not normal...so there is probably a problem with the website at this time. Of course this does not help you know which are actually in stock and which are not...

NO - I don't know of any DDD promotions. They are very few.

They have had MAJOR problems since upgrading, so they say. Or has I see it, since it still looks the same, they may be going bad. I still have some orders there but I'am starting to wonder why it is taking so long to get it running right. I had one order for a release of 8/20. I noticed on 8/29 it was listed as COMPLETE but the details said nothing about it being shipped and was still listed as a Pre-order and no charge and I never received a shipping email. I called today and was told it shipped on 8/28 but I guess I will have to wait and see.

Despite the website problems though, all of my orders have been shipping fine. I just received an email saying that the DVD I ordered yesterday has been shipped to me.

Just went back to the website and it now seems to be OK. DVDs that are in stock are showing up properly in the shopping cart and not as backordered items now.

How fast does everyone's order show up in your order history/status. It takes about 3 days for mine to show up, and I still have never received a confirmation email after an order.

4 Days and counting since I placed an order. Nothing in Order Status, no confirmation email. Lately Amazon has been screwing up orders with coupons. This is so frustrating. I may have to start going to the dreaded Best Buy and pay sales tax.
