Are half.com returns easy?

I bought a book off of it but now I don't want it anymore. The site still says 'awaiting confirmation', but since this is half.com, I doubt they can perform the simple task of cancelling the order. So what, if any, is the return procedure for half.com purchases? Their site doesn't have any return policy listed at all (none that I can find through their help wizard). Any help is appreciated.

You are at the mercy of the seller. Contact him/her through ebay/half.com and the seller might be nice and credit you back if they haven't sent it yet. Unless of course the order never gets confirmed at all.

Oh, and btw, returns are never easy at half.com. If you have a dispute with a seller, expect to wait 2-3 months and a lot of follow-up email to get your money back from half.com.

Well, the seller confirmed but then cancelled the order with nary an email to me. Another almost sour experience with half.com

Almost sour? Don't order something you don't want.

For me when stuff gets cancelled (or never gets confirmed)I get pissed because you usually lose out on other available items in the meantime.

Like I said, I didn't do it on purpose. Since it worked out for me, I call it an almost sour experience (could have been but was not).

As for the other stuff, that's the seller's fault.
