Does Amazon allow both Supersaver Shipping and Promotional GC?

Does Amazon allow both Supersaver Shipping and Promotional GC?
I ordered enough DVDs to qualify for Supersaver shipping. I also applied a $5 off 35 Promotional GC.
I just checked an order on Amazon and the status page gives conflicting message. The top part of the status page (order detail) appears to indicate that both the SS and the GC will be applied. It even says "Paid by Mastercard". However, on the bottom part of the page (payment information) appears to indicate that only the SS will be applied.
What is your experience? Does Amazon not apply a GC in case of the SS orders? Or is it just a software glitch (and if so, do I need to call to correct once they ship)?

I've been having problems with my final summary not matching up with the amount on the order status page. I've had to call both times, as the promo coupon was initially deducted, then failed to show as a deduction on the status page. So make sure you always check!
Also, I had a hard time convincing the customer representative that a promo coupon IS allowed with STL.
