DeepDiscount, 1st time customer :-(

Finally received an email from DeepDiscountDVD that my order shipped and considering I ordered it Monday thats pretty slow in my book. I know they where having problems but it wasnt a good experience for my first time dealing with them. I know they read these forums so I hope they will at least send those who had orders with them this week a juicy coupon to use on our next order. It would even be nicer if they gave one for everyone. How about it DDD????

Welcome To The Forum

DDD is great IMO. I've had a few orders with them and all of them were great. Your right they were having problems this week. I'd recommend trying them again even if they don't get you a coupon. The prices are great and the customer service is great too imo.

Your case was definately the exception, and not the rule. I've placed dozens of orders with them, and every time they've gone through without a hitch. Give them a week or two to get everything straightened out, then try again. You won't be disappointed.

I agree completely with the two that replied to your post, Samdumbman. DDD is going through a system transition, which explains the delays. This certainly is a once in a blue moon situation. I've been ordering from DDD for nearly a year and have always been offered very competitive prices, as compared elsewhere.

Give DDD another chance to restore your confidence, I am sure you won't be dissapointed. As far as customer service is concerned, I have been satisfied. However given the rather low prices as is, I am sure there is little room for a coupon. Low Prices + Free Shipping, you can't go wrong!

I just wonder if you were reading this forum before you placed the order. If so you would have known about the delays.

Don't hold your breath. This was standard practice a couple of years ago but those companies either stopped the practice or went under. Some would tell you there is no free lunch. There actually was a free lunch but it is long over.

Dablueguy to answer your question... No, I didnt read this forum before I placed my order. I did have the page loading problem though and didnt think much of it at the time. Then when I went to check my order status it showed no open order status for 2 days. I almost placed it again and seriously thought about going somewhere else till I came here and read others where having the same problem...... I just checked their site and its back up and I still show no order status. Luckily I was smart enough to check around to see if anyone else was having problems with their orders. What about the average Joe who's still wondering what happened to the order they placed? So stop with the support emails and join the picket line for a coupon. We deserve it!

Why are all you guys from DDD replying to my post anyway. I want customer feedback not employees ;-).

It sounds like all you're doing is begging for a coupon.

There are a bunch of existing threads on DDD. Please use one of those rather than starting a new thread.

And...

D-Ball nailed it. See above.
