taxed?

not sure if this is the right forum for this, but..

i'm in canada (vancouver to be somewhat exact), and im just wondering if i ordered from amazon.com, or amazon.ca, will i get taxed? i've ordered books from amazon.com before and didnt, but my brother says with dvds its a different story.

any help is appreciated.

You will not get taxed unless Canada charges sales tax. Amazon or Amazon.ca will not charge you American sales tax.

You'd be better off buying from Amazon.com instead of Amazon.ca. The .ca site will charge you full PST & GST of your province (14.5% for BC i think).
