Is Netflix going down the hill?
More and more movies on my wish list are gettin "long wait" and "short wait" notices next to them. Majority of them are new releases.
When I reactivated my subscription 3 months ago it was perfect, everything was available. Taken from US Bancorp Piper Jafferey report on NFLX (6/19/02) "We are currently modeling for only a 5% increase in subs over Q1, to 633k, but we believe the growth could be twice this rate, making the ending subs over 660k and resulting in about 10% higher EBITDA. " What is the story for you guys? |
As I said in this thread: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=213220
My entire queue (over 40 titles) is now not available. I'm now in the very inconvenient situation of having to search through titles EVERY TIME I RETURN SOMETHING just to find something available to have shipped to me. The queue system just isn't working for me any more... I keep adding titles, but nothing seems to be in stock. Netflix has to increase the # of copies per title (especially for obscure or foreign flicks) or they are about to lose a customer. |
If you cancel your account and open another account, you will find that all of the titles that were previously unavailable become available. I did this about two weeks ago and all new releases have shipped on the release date and all the other movies in my queue are showing up as available now.

Interesting point. I assume I have to cancel at the end of my billing month, since they don't prorate.

Let's continue this discussion in the thread that bboisvert pointed out.
