Got mine on Tuesday, about three weeks after sending in the coupon.
I got my first choice (the new Psycho - I already had everything else that I wanted, and was curious about the shot-for-shot remake).
Pretty sweet. The last time I sent in for a free disc I never received it (but they never cashed my cheque, either).
Now all I have to wait for is the bonus JP collection disc and slip case.
And I suppose we'll see all of the old 2-disc slip cases going up for auction on E-bay.

I received mine this past Saturday. I ordered "October Sky". I was a bit surprised that the DVD was not under plastic wrap seal. It was as if they took a return item and sent it to me. The disc played fine, so this is still a minor gripe. I just thought that there were advertising "new" DVDs in their offer.

Mine (Psycho 1998) came shink-wrapped, but there was a deep burn across the bar code all the way down to the black plastic that holds the disc - like a soldering iron (or some other hot appliance) melted the plastic across the bar code (rather sloppily, too).
But it was shrink wrapped with all of the annoying security stickers on it, just like you'd find it in the store, otherwise.

My October Sky finally arrived yesterday, and in the same condition as thgord's. It was in and envelope with bubble wrap but the DVD itself was not shrink wrapped.

I didn't send mine out until around Jan. 5th, but I just received my free disc yesterday (25th). Not too shabby. And I got Bowfinger, which was my first choice. It was shrinkwrapped with the old style of one security sticker on the top, but the UPC had a big scratch through the middle. Ah well. What I really wanted was the extra JP disc. Still waiting for that....

I received my JP Bonus Disc and JP Trilogy Box today after 11 weeks. The flattened box was in good shape considering it was only in a padded envelope and could have easily been bent/creased all to hell like other peoples. Still waiting on my free DVD(Psycho '98) though my check for shipping was cashed about 4 weeks ago.

I received my box and bonus disc a month ago. I'm still waiting on the free dvd. I noticed the check was cashed Jan. 31st. I had a feeling it would be waiting on my front step for me today, but for some reason the mailman did not deliver to our block today. This has happened before, and we'll probably get twice as much mail tomorrow. Hopefully, the disc will come. We have horrible mail service in my area, but at least I'm not getting my neighbors' mail on a daily basis anymore.

Universal is one of the few studios that makes sure that their free promotional goods cannot be used for retail sale -- either by unscrupulous stores or customers returning them. They almost always either "burn" or scratch the UPC. Many record companies do this with tapes and CDs. This is the first time I had heard of no shrinkwrap though!
For the record, I have only received my $5 check from Disney (for Snow White "upgrade"). Mailed both Universal offers and a few Disney offers all on Dec. 21. Checks were all cashed well over a month ago.

Got my free dvd!
Just received Dragonheart! So it took them like 2 1/2 months to do it but they finally came through! As a comparison, the free DVD I got (The Little Mermaid) when I bought Snow White arrived about 2 weeks after I sent away for it. The check was cashed a week AFTER I received the DVD! Either way, excellent deals! Both DVDs are between $25-$30 new and I got them for shipping only! I love America!

Got my box (only slightly bent - no worries) and my bonus "Beyond Jurassic Park" disc today. Very sweet. Got my free disc about a month ago.
So Universal is all square with me. They certainly rock.

I finally received the bonus disc and box yesterday after about three months of waiting. However I wasn't too happy with the condition they arrived in the mail. The box was bent and the disc loose inside the case but at least it wasn't scratched.

I sent my check in the day the JP box set came out and I just got my Mercury rising dvd today (march 26th, 2002).
Shouldn't it have been a little quicker? hehe.
