Circuit City worst DVD box set prices?

I was in Circuit City yesterday (Baileys Crossroads, Arlington VA)and couldn't believe how much they were charging for many of their DVDs.

Ultimate Toy Story (3-Disk) - $69.99 ($29.99 at Costco)
Sopranos Season One - $79.99 ($67.99 at Costco)

And some of their box sets were marked even higher than they offer on their website:

Alien Box Set - $109.99 ($59.99 on Circuit City website) ($49.99 at Costco)
Bruce Lee: Master Collection - $99.99 ($59.99 on Circuit City website) ($49.99 at Costco).

To have purchased these four box sets would have cost me $359.96 at Circuit City or $197.96 at Costo.

Circuit City does offer their advertised specials for low prices, but their non-advertised DVDs are outrageously priced. Does anyone know a store that sells their non-advertised DVDs for more than Circuit City?

Are you sure about that Ulitmate Toy Story price at Costco ($29.99)?

And to answer your question, no, I don't know of any stores that charge more than Circuit City ("regular" prices, they have some decent sales on new releases). I guess that they are selling to people who buy their first DVD player and don't know the real prices of DVDs.

Fairly certain. I was in Costco (Pentagon City, Arlington VA) on December 21 looking for a gift for my wife. Saw it and picked it up. Got it to the counter, and then realized I had neither cash nor an ATM card with me. I could be misremembering the price, but I don't think so. The price is what made me attempt to make the impulse purchase.
