Whats the best place to buy DVD's for selection and price?
What is a really good DVD online store? I'm trying amazon but I have a feeling there has to be a place with prices 5-10 dollars cheaper on some of the more expensive box sets. Could you tell me, where do some of you buy online?
Thanks for any help.

Try DVDpricesearch to take a look at all the stores prices, they even give you the S/H. I myself find DeepDiscount.com the cheapest (no shipping cost) because they have a price match contest that keeps them up on having the lowest price, even if its only a penny . They also have a wide selection. They do not carry coupons. Sometimes a store will have a special going on but that's what the Bargin section is for.

If you're looking for that big of a drop on box sets try Deep Discount DVD domestically or possibly a Canadian e-tailer like ABSound, Direct Video or Total Action Universe.
Canadian e-tailers have their drawbacks... Mostly slow ship times.
And slow shipping is a common complaint about DDD (Deep Discount DVD) as they use the base Media Mail rate for their free shipping. the base Media Mail rate for their free shipping. Although DDD has as many supporters as distracters.
As far as overall selection, DVD Empire and DVD Planet aren't too bad price-wise and somewhat competitive on pre-orders. DDD is good price-wise, but their selection is not too expansive.
Or if you like to live dangerously, you could try Canadian e-tailer, Playcentric (Do a search on them in the Store forum... And some folks claim that have gotten better recently FWIW.)

Personally I use mostly DDD and DVD Empire with the occasional pre-order at CDNow since they have offered 15% coupons (there's a thread in the Bargains forum) recently that basically negates their somewhat high shipping costs.

Here's how the decent retailers break down for me, on or offline. One has a better selection and better store/interface, the other has better prices and more mainstream stuff.
Great deals on new releases, great prices, lots of mainstream stuff, ugly store/interface:
DeepDiscountDVD.com
AllDirect.com
Best Buy
Great interface/store, good selection, prices not super discounted (most prices fair):
Border's
Amazon.com
KenCranes.com
