Shrek Rental Version CDNOW?
 

CDNOW is showing Shrek as 30% off, but when you ad it to the cart it says "Shrek Rental Version." If you click on that, it goes to the Shrek description page and the 2 disc version is priced at $20.49 (20% off). What gives?

I looked through the site and it no longer says 30% off, and is showing a 20% off price. CDNow is very quick to change anything that is not a preorder to 20% or 15% off. However, with more than a week left for the release of Shrek, it is a little early for that price change to go in effect. Other movies being released on next Tuesday (10/30), such as The Animal, are still priced at 30% off.

Maybe it's just a bug in the system, maybe they changed the prices a little too early, who knows? I suppose it wouldn't hurt to call/e-mail a CDNow CSR about it.
