Is this still possible? Cannot find it on the web site anymore.

Cheers,
Jon.

Are you sure that you have orders that can be combined? When I go to my orders status page, it says "You do not have any orders that may be combined." I only have one outstanding order, and it includes a promotional coupon. On assuming that if I had orders that could be combined, a link would appear on the order status page. Anyone have a couple of orders without promotional coupons who's able to confirm that?

Orders that use a promotional coupon/GC cannot be combined.

But if you have other orders than be combined:

• Go to the "Your Account" page
• Go to the "My Most Recent Orders and Transactions" page, you should see a list of your orders, unless they are 14 days or older, but regardless
• Click on "Account Maintenance" on the upper left of the page,
• The page you're taken to next should have the option to "View/Edit/Combine Open Orders" on the left hand side menu.

You should be able to follow the instructions from there.

And for a quicker responce next time try opening this kind of topic in the store forum as not to incur the wraith of the Mods :)

Oh yes they can. But only if the PC/GC is used on the first order.

i.e. An order made using a PC can be successfully combined with a later non-coupon order.

However, a later coupon order added to existing orders might result in loss of coupon.

Two or more coupon orders cannot be combined.

It wouldn't let me add one of the $.02 items to my Godfather order (which was placed first, with a promo and STL) even though I had no coupon in my second order. How could that be then?

Call Amazon at 800-201-7575. Their CSR can combine them for you. Which $.02 did you order? I looked through the site and all was already out of stock?

I'm wondering if it's possible to substitute items in an order after it's been placed. I want to swap identically priced items, and in my original order, I had discounts for free shipping, STL, and a $5 off $30 coupon - all of which I still wish to keep of course? I don't think there's any way to do this online, but has anyone ever gotten a CSR to do this for them? Thanks.

I've done it online (but not since the free shipping promotion started)

You can do this online. The problem now is that if you placed the original order with the free shipping offer you will no doubt be charged shipping costs if you mess with the order now.
